The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. We stayed for one night during the Takayama festival as a couple but it can accommodate more guests. The open-air bath was fun and easy to use with privacy.

We arrived quite late and hosts still take the time to walked us through the facility to welcome us then serve the dinner. The 12 course dinner was unforgettable and each of the dish was truely made with the best local ingredients and the craftmanship of masterchefs. The town house was preserved very well with modern facilities inside which showed the host has put a lot of efforts in it. The open bath at a cozy garden was definitely a merit. He took very good care of us and made sure we had a taxi picking us up whenever we needed it, explained what we were eating at breakfast, and how to do it properly.
