It is an amazing place if you want to get out of a city and are looking for a cozy, quaint place to rest. The owners are incredibly kind and lovely. They greeted us, recommended places to eat, helped with travel plans, and had a lovely conversation with us over breakfast. This hotel was wonderful. 10/10, can highly recommend.

I beleive the owners do live there as well, but in a seperate part. The room is big, for Japanese standards, and has everything you'll need. The location is remote, in a small village. There's a great Burger & Café in the center. You cannot miss it when you drive up there. There was a simple breakfast included: toast, fried egg, sausage, bit of fruit and coffee or tea. You can park in front of the room.

My stomach did not feel very well for two days before caming there, but the dinner tasted great and I felt much better next day. Rooms are clean, with great bath and especially, giving you a vibe of a real western style house in countryside! The host couple were so kind and guided me to have roasted marshmellow, this was my first time doing this! On the second day, they also helped me about my one-day trip plan in Kiyosato.

There were food and drinks in the fridge when I arrived which was a great touch! It is a lovely location in the countryside and there is plenty of nature to explore.
