Very comfortable place with an awesome host in a quiet area. A free bicycle made everything in Ibusuki close and the host gave me a ride when I needed one. The stay made me feel at home and would be spacious enough for a full house. I extended my stay 2 times and keep this place in mind as one of the most heartwarming. The interior, kitchen utensils and washing machine were also very useful. Thank you so much for having me :) I had a great time!

We had access to cooking facilities and the fridge etc in the kitchen. The next morning, i used the courtesy bicycle to ride down to the sand bath after enjoying the sunrise over the ocean. The hosts very kindly picked me up from the train station, and the next day kindly dropped me back to the train station.

I used daily one of the three bicycles lent freely by the property to visit Ibusuki and its immediate surroundings. I will return longer to that hostel on my next Japanese trip and take the train locally to the volcano Kaimondake, or by bus to the Peace Museum (WWII aviation) and other places of interest.HenriqueSolo traveller

Host knows the area really well and can make recommendations on sights, day-trips, restaurants etc. We had the optional meal at the ryokan one night which was superb.
