The hostel itself was beautiful, and everything was easily accessible and comfortable despite it being shared/communal services. I loved the layout of the room I stayed in, and found the provided games in the lounge area to be really fun! There were various options for restaurants nearby, and a simple 2 minute walk put us in range of many. Overall, it was great for my one night! If I ever need to be back in the area, I would love to stay for longer.

Situated in Kanzaki, within 20 km of Maizuru Brick Park and 26 km of Kongoin Temple, Kanzaki Beach House features accommodation with a garden as well as free private parking for guests who drive. The air-conditioned accommodation is 26 km from Maizuru Repatriation Memorial Museum. Tango Regional Museum of Contemporary Art is 34 km away and Myouryuji Temple is 35 km from the guest house.

This new guest house one is definitely a hidden gem. Right on the beach in a quiet part of Kyoto. You'll be met with 5 traditional rooms with a shared living area and bathroom. Whilst the rooms are traditionally minimalistic the air-conditioning is cold and they are impeccably clean, as are the showers and toilets. The communal space is where it comes together with a well equipped kitchen and dining area. Guests from the 5 rooms and 2 camping spots share this space and even though fully booked during our stay it was no problems with use and everyone worked together. The outdoor area results in another lovely sitting and shared space with tables and chairs and hammocks etc. If that's not your thing walk 7.5 seconds and you're on what feels like a private beach but with all the entertainment of fishermen, surfers, sup boards and boats and ships passing by from the nearby port. Marie the host speaks perfect English and Japanese and will go out of her way to make your stay enjoyable. As it's a fairly rural location, dining out options are very limited if you don't have access to a car so make sure you bring supplies to make use of the shared kitchen (a large fridge/freezer is also provided to share. So don't hesitate, pack the car or stock up at the supermarket and grab the train and check this one out away from the hustle and bustle of city life. I know I'll be back!

The cabin was spacious (for 2 persons) and clean. The place does not have towels and we didn’t bring any, but the host quickly got us some before the farm shop closed at 18:00pm. So kind! Also, there’s a restaurant that offers a buffet style diner. All the food served is local and very very delicious.

It’s clean, quiet and has all the amenities provided. The staff were also super friendly. The location was within walking distance to a supermarket, convenient stores and restaurants. About a 20minutes walk from the main train station. This hostel is located on the 4th floor of the building. There is an elevator that takes you straight to the doorstep of the residence. Last but not least, it’s affordable and worth every penny.

general location was central to the water front and shopping. only an easy15 min walk to the train station. Hotel was quiet and had many self-serve facilities including laundry. It seemed to be popular with visiting business people as it had meeting rooms and a conference room.
