It’s beautiful! The Japanese architectural details are so lovely. I learned a lot about the hotel and the design. The history of furniture in their family. The husband and wife who run Shioriya are so kind and welcoming. They went above and beyond. It was truly a great place to stay. I started my day smiling with them every day.

The property is about 8min walk from the chuusha bus stop, there is a mini slope along the way too. I ordered breakfast and dinner with my stay since togakushi restaurants generally close really early. I think the food is basic, its certainly not a spread. With the price paid, i think its ok
