And even though it is a bit of a bus drive away from Nagasaki, the town Mogi it is in is so charming, and we really loved getting to go back there at the end of the day, and also explore it during the day. The staff was so nice and the house itself is just so cool as well. Would definetly recommend staying there!

And we love their guesthouse. A little old and worn but so comfortable and like home. And the quiet lane that leads from the tram terminal to their place, past the Torii gate, seems to lead into a gentler, more real Japan. There is also an excellent shopping street 10 minutes away (with a great Italian restaurant.)
