I usually dont review. but it would be a serious injustice not to in this case. Chris was a fantastic host. Very very helpful and informative. From driving me to the station, taking me on a tour of the countryside, providing links and contacts to personalize and enhance my stay. The whole experience was delightful. I have made a friend here and will definitely be coming back to stay. Many thanks

The host is amazing and even though we only book the room last minute for a night, he took the time to meet us the day after with egg sandwiches and a paddle board. He is very knowledgeable about the spots to visit in the region and we spend the day walking around in Seki city and the surrounding mountains thanks to his advice. I'd definitely recommend, highlight of our trip so far.

I stayed here en route and it was very convenient. I visited the Seki Sword Museum and several shrines in the area on foot from the hotel, only 10-15 minute walk. The car park was large and check-in was smooth and easy. The indoor onsen was small but clean and very welcome after a day driving. There was a code for the women's onsen which I was given at check-in and was very easy to use. The room was a decent size, quiet and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was a small but delicious buffet.

A cosy room/house and in convenient, yet very quiet area. There are some shops nearby like super-sento(large scale public bath), supermarket, 24h convenience store and pharmacy. The house is decorated by mixture of Japanese and UK taste.
