A recently renovated property, 波奈 浅草 Hana Asakusa ーSkyTree前駅まで徒歩5分ー is situated in Tokyo near Hatonomachidori Shopping Street, Tsukada Kobo and Aizome Museum. The guest house, set in a building dating from 1970, is 1.2 km from Kamejimashogakko Memorial Park and 1.3 km from Sumida Cultural Museum. Ushijima Shrine is 1.4 km away and Tobu Museum is 1.4 km from the guest house.

Good location (nearby Hikifune metro station, which is only few stations away from the town like Tokyo station or Asakusa, and nearby covenient stores and restaurants as well). The owner is super nice and gave us a warm welcoming and a good care. The accommodation was cozy, comfortable and gave a local-alike feeling. The place was wide enough for 3 women to stay in comfortably. Totally recommended. Also, we can see a Tokyo Sky Tree from the street around the accommodation.

Among the facilities at this property are a shared kitchen and luggage storage space, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The guest house has family rooms.

The owner was extremely helpful! He gave us recommendations on where to eat (izakayas) and drink when asked! The location is in a nice and quiet location, and of course, next to convinis. There's also a relatively close location for laundry and if you need directions the owner has handouts on the whereabouts. ALSO I LOVE THE OWNER SO MUCH- he offered us cute goodie bags and also offered one of my friends a suitcase because she was carrying around lots of heavy bags 😭

The owner, Satoshi, is a lovely person! He was very helpful and knowledgeable for someone who has never travelled to Japan (or anywhere out of Australia for that matter!) made my first overseas hostel a great experience. His English is great too! The other guests were also kind and easy to spend time with in the communal area, I think this place attracts nice people haha

Bike hire is available at this guest house and the area is popular for cycling. Oedo Onsen Monogatari is 8 km from HISAYO'S INN, while Fuji TV Odaiba is 9 km from the property. The nearest airport is Tokyo Haneda International Airport, 3 km from HISAYO'S INN.

We had an early flight the next day so this place was perfect to wake up and go to Haneda airport. Only a couple of stops by train and this place isn't too far from the train station. Hisayo is a wonderful host and very friendly. Cant beat the price and hospitality!

This property has an amazing and tranquil atmosphere. It has a traditional Japanese house aesthetic with a beautiful garden, full of history but modernized. The room is very clean and the bed is comfortable too! There’s slippers, towels, Yukatas provided for the guests. The owner is very friendly and accommodating, and there was so many interesting things we talked about over breakfast. I definitely loved the special homemade orange marmalade that was part of breakfast. This space is ideal for couples or small families who want a peaceful and quiet place to stay in.

Offering quiet street views, hanare is set in the Taito district of Tokyo, 400 metres from Asakura Museum of Sculpture and 400 metres from Kyoouji Temple. The 2-star guest house has air-conditioned rooms with a shared bathroom and free WiFi. The accommodation offers luggage storage space and a concierge service for guests.

I love the core concept of this 'scattered hotel' that encourages guests to engage with the community. From the welcome walking tour of the neighborhood, to a detailed map and restaurant recommendations, to the tickets to the neighborhood bathhouse, I really felt anchored in a sense of place. Breakfast is in a separate building down the road. For a solo traveler, my tatami mat room and adjacent but private toilet (shared shower) were perfect. Neighborhood is lots of fun to explore, and the 'concierge' was so helpful, and warm, and responsive. Wonderful experience.

Fantastic place in a quiet neighbourhood but with many good restaurants and bars around the apartment. Very walkable and close to the heart of Shinjuku. Jacob is a great host. Communication with him was easy and he responded to all inquiries immediately and was very helpful. Lots of amazing food recommendations from the host that we would not be able to find on our own!
