We chose the larger room and although it was on the ground floor it was worth it for the space and decor. Nico catered brilliantly for my coeliac (gluten free) dietary requirements and was so helpful in organising a taxi for our trip to Volubilis. The location is great as it is outside the Medina and in a quiet street near a nice open square and rooftop terraces.

It is easy to find, an old building nicely decorated, with comfort better than expected. Medina is very busy during the day, but calm and quiet during nights and mornings. The location was great for visiting Dar Jamai Museum (splendid) and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. For the rest, unfortunately, Meknes is like a great construction site for the restoration of most of the historical landmarks.

Cheap taxi transportation service in the city. 10 Moroccan Dirham will take you to most places in the city. The Taxi drivers are honest. A great credit to their city.
