Its a nice studio apartment. Clean and easy access to the main road. Its far better in real than in pictures. Feels at home when here. The owner is very nice person. He could arrange the place according to your requirements.

The hotel itself is located in Quatre Bornes, and it only takes you 20 minutes to get to Port Louis by the metro, which was just great for me as i had lots of appointments and other things to do in Port Louis. Sikamifer is much cheaper than any hotel in Port Louis and at the same time it happened to be absolutely nice and comfy place. THE STAFF!!! OMG! I was so glad that i chose Sikamifer, because every time i needed help (finding a place where i could get vaccinated with a specific vaccination for example), Jennifer (the wonderful lady from reception) was always there for me. The feeling of being a dear guest had never left me at that place. All the members of staff were always smiling at me making me feel precious. All the staff speak English which makes it much easier for the international travellers. But! If you feel like speaking French, good news, french is their native language! The hotel provides all the services one might need, such as meals, laundry, taxi, you name it. Yes, you name it and Jennifer will make it work for you. The prices are fairly low. The taxi service is provided by the hotel and it makes it cheaper. I tried to take the taxi in the city, and it's at least 20-25% more. Dear Sikamifer Tourist Resort, and especially Jennifer, THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH for helping me with all those 10000 requests that i had for you every single day! You guys made my stay in Mauritius fabulous! Love You!

Great modern Bali style interior design, which I personally love compare to other properties around there. Pictures are true to what you’re getting! You get lot more than a hotel room, with mini-fridge and cutleries for the occasional snack in the room. Cute shared little garden for a morning coffee. Host was extremely accommodating and they helped out with any request I had. Reliable internet connection for Mauritius, it helped me go through hours long video conference calls. Parking is a few minutes down the road in a secured area. You’ll need to communicate and plan check-in / checkout, which is typical for individually owned properties. Overall this is great value for your money.

The staff were very welcoming. Maison D' Hôtes Coignet is closed to supermarkets, restaurants, the bus stop, and metro station. I felt very safe. The breakfast is delicious and prepared for you in the morning. The room was very clean. I had a wonderful night's sleep. From Rose Hill you can catch the bus or train and get to any part of the island.
