We stayed here for one night. The farm was super clean and spacious. The managers & staff were very friendly and present (in a very positiv way). There are many animals around which really calmed us down. The hike was nothing special but nice for a little move. The dinner and breakfast was extremely good.

the quiet peaceful setting of the property. lovely grounds with majestic trees. the room was spacious and well furnished, including provision of coffee, tea and rusks. The hosts were also very friendly and obliging. Klaas ( hope I spelled his name right) was even kind enough to take me for a tour of his farm which included feeding his cattle utilizing computer technology to its best.

Felix is the consummate host and goes out of his way to ensure that your stay is enjoyable. He personally prepares the breakfasts and, on request, an evening meal. What he lacks in culinary skill he makes up for in volume (and who doesn't like jelly & ice cream for dessert?) He also took us out for a boat ride on the dam with a couple of stubbies. Oh, and the dogs are a delight - particularly Peanut Very happy to recommend Bambi Lodge for a stop over in the area.
