We had a great stay at Tapihouse. The location is perfect! Close to the restaurants and beach but in a nice quiet street. The hosts Rafa and Sori are amazing! So helpful and friendly, feels like family. The breakfast is very good and if you’re lucky Rafa will make his famous paella for diner! The airco in the room is nice and communal area and kitchen are well equipped and clean.

Four Trees is located on a hilltop with million-dollar views of the surrounding hills and valleys. Our room was spacious and comfy. The communal kitchen is well-appointed. The wifi coverage is excellent. Poppy the dog and Blimp the cat are adorable ambassadors. Louis, Nick, and the team are friendly and extremely responsive. This is a special place to return to after a day of adventure in San Juan. It is also an incredible value.

Everything so well taken care of at Saltwater! The rooms are meticulously clean, sheets and beds are comfortable, the fan setup and airflow is excellent. Breakfast being included is so nice- it’s a great way to make friends and start your day with other travelers and people. The hostel is also centrally located, close to the beach and everything, while still being away from the noise and up a short hill. Sunset Toña’s on the roof, overlooking the ocean is stunning. I can’t wait to return. If you come to SJDS, stay at Saltwater. Also, shoutout to Jose at the front desk! Greatest guy and so welcoming and friendly. Happy to see him out and about in town and always get to chat.

Clean kitchen, bathroom and comfy beds. Overall it was a good stay for the price. Location is near most of restaurants and bars.

The cleanest hotel room we have had in 3 months! The room and bathroom were so clean. Super comfortable bed. The host gave us an extra fan which was so kind and useful.

Awesome little place up in the hills. Really beautiful view. It’s a nice communal space that links the bungalows with the pool and eating area. Great value for money 👍🏻

Really well located at the heart of the city and near the beach. The owner came back to take care of the hostel so it was clean and well furnished and he was really friendly! So we're the dogs :)
