It was very quiet and peaceful and the hosts were lovely to interact with. We were able to park our car in the back yard right in front of the cottage. The amenities inside were good. It has just about everything you could need, we stayed 2 nights but it would definitely serve for longer stays as well. Good furnishings, well equipped kitchen, comfy bed, great shower. Easy check-in to get the keys, host sent clear instructions well in advance. We come to Waihi a few times a year and I would happily book this again.

The 1-bedroom motel unit we were located in was quite spacious, and importantly it was very clean and tidy. The manager was welcoming upon our arrival and a great host for the duration of our stay.
