The owner Ariel went out of his way to make us feel at home and make our travels easy. He is probably the most hospitable host we have ever encountered in our travels. He met us in town at the bus stop and offered to drop us off at the bus stop when we were leaving. He is very knowledgeable about the town and activities, and loves to share music and stories. The communal spaces are very homely, there is a big backyard space and a river alongside the property.

The hostel takes on travel volunteers to help out. Having Anna from Germany there to advocate to the owners on our behalf was the detail that made our time there less stressful. It is a large property that has a lot of potential.
