Spacious, clean apartment with a large terrace. Well furnished and equipped with anything you may need for a short or long stay. Centrally located, across the street from a food market, with bakery, restaurants, cafes and shops (including a supermarket) in close vicinity. Within a short walk to the beach/promenade. Despite the central/busy location it was not noisy (other than the usual daytime hustle and bustle) and felt safe both during the day and in the evenings/at night. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful time, stayed at the suite, because it was the only one with a king bed. Didn't have a balcony, but we only spent time at the hotel to sleep and have breakfast so it wasn't a big deal. Big space, nicely decorated, very very clean. It's a boutique hotel with only a few rooms, so very quiet and peaceful. The staff was very helpful, specially mr. Hugo, who made us feel very welcoming. Breakfast at the terrace with a beautiful view was perfect. We would' t think twice to choose Babosas Village again!

Nice rental, modern and cosy. Approx. 20-30 minutes walk from old town and center of Funchal. Going back is more tricky as you go up steep hills:) We rather took the bus back (10 minutes from center with many bus options) or sometimes ordered Bolt.
