Chalet Saudade underwent a 5-year complete renovation and offers modern and comfortable accommodations, elegant living rooms with trompe l’œil frescoes and romantic gardens with antique water fountains and ponds. Rooms include tea making facilities.

This bed and breakfast was charming and very artfully decorated. Our room was a large and beautifully appointed suite. There was a nice balcony overlooking a garden. The breakfast was offered at their nearby restaurant. The amazing breakfast included coffee, fresh juice, rolls, breads, meat & cheese, egg and a pastries.

Super clean and modern shared apartment. Great facilities, everything one needs! Super close 3min walk to the train station and 10min walk into the old town, just far enough from the hustle and bustle of tourists. A little pricey for a private room w shared bathroom but you pay for quality here, made my stay. Highly recommend.

A great stay - probably one of our best during our five weeks of traveling in Portugal. Good parking - great breakfast and a room that was really a double room. This is an older building but it has been renovated "first class". We loved it. Wifi was good. Great shower!!! This is a 10 out of 10 stay!! We only wish that it was a little closer to the "old town" area - not bad walking down but a chore walking back. Second day we took the bus.

A happy hour with drinks and/or tapas will be held regularly at the property and guests may request a welcome drink which will be served by the hosts. Picnics, dinner service, snacks, guided tours and shuttles can be arranged, upon previous request and upon an extra fee.

Hosts are very warm and welcoming people, we felt like visiting our grandparents! Nice breakfast and friendly cats, all amenities needed were included in the room. And we were lucky to get a parking place just in front of the building.

Great, great location. If arriving by taxi, ask them to drop you off at the tourist information office. The guesthouse is down the little alley between there and the Paris Cafe, on the right side. Beautiful old European charm and decor. Comfortable bed. Quiet location. Hosts clearly care about providing a good experience for their guests.

Absolutely delightful staff and such a charming place. We felt so welcomed and had a very comfortable stay. Its within easy walking distance of the main city center and public transport to the various castles and sites in the area, and within walking distance to a nice little laundromat. The yard and grounds are lovely with lots of places to have a cup of tea or coffee. When we left we wished we’d planned time to relax at the guesthouse because it was so cozy.

It was new and clean. But very small inside a 4 bed dorm. Would be crammed if everyone is there at once. This hostel had no vibe. It’s very chill and quiet but it just seems sterile and the energy seems meh. If you’ve been to great hostel before with a great vibe. You’ll know what I mean. Location was pretty central and close to everything. Beds were comfortable and the AC was on and you can control it in the room. They also provided a blanket which was a nice touch.

Great location! 1 street away from the train station, but we didn’t hear any noise. 10 min walk to the historical city center. Kind hosts who show you around the guesthouse and give lots of recommendations, have a nice chat. Clean rooms, they made the bed everyday and gave clean towels everyday. Divers breakfast, Very delicious! You feel at home!

Chalet Relogio Guesthouse is charming, rustic, quiet and comfortable, and is close to Sintra's restaurants and sights. From the spacious outdoor deck seating we had views of a castle, and from our room we had large windows overlooking the gardens. Breakfasts were also very good and fresh, and included cheeses, meats, fresh fruit and bread. They also kindly provided us with gluten-free bread. We had a wonderful and restful stay.

Host/owner has mastered the art of making people feel welcome in this beautiful little bed and breakfast. 100% recommend staying over night in Sintra and equally 100% recommend staying in this quaint little guest house. Lovely breakfast- she took a universal continental breakfast too the next level. Unique set up, tasty food with cozy tables, it was a full experience and I would come back again just for breakfast alone!
