We loved the experience of staying in the room with our two dogs. The host made our stay super comfortable including the dogs. And the space is great if you want to relax and to just get away from buzz of the city. Ah! there are great beaches around too! Super recommend!

We absolutely fell in love with the fort. It is a magical place and our hosts Rita and Miguel made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Miguel shared a lot of information with us and was very friendly & funny! The breakfast buffet was outstanding and we loved sitting on the wall looking out at the river and ocean watching the fisherman and birds. We woke up early and walked down the river to watch the sunset.

EVERYTHING! What a place!! Had the one-bedroom 'villa'. Super complete with everything in it you could need Superb view from terrace. Tasty breakfast. A place to stay longer than the only 2 nights I was there. Will come back FOR SURE!!

Very tidy and lovely guest house, equipped with everything we needed. The location is incredible, very close to the beach and centre of town but in a quiet area. Joaquim is a 5-star host. He was friendly and kind and provided all the information we needed. We will be back, thank you Joaquim!

The place is just outside the village, so very quiet at night, but bars and restaurants are just 5 minutes by foot. Beach is about 2,5 km away, so car is very convenient. Can strongly recommend this place if you want a quality holiday
