I can’t recommend this hostel enough. I stayed here twice during my time in Vietnam and would definitely return. It’s very clean and new, the staff is super helpful and always available. The owner kindly helped me to find a suitable company for the Ha Giang loop and Ha Long Bay. The location is also great, a bit far out of the old town which is actually an advantage if you’re looking to stay in a bit calmer area, yet with many great restaurants and cafes around. Also, for CrossFit enthusiasts, the box is just a few minutes walk away :)

My boyfriend and I initially booked 1 week and we've been extending for almost 2 months now! Rooms are very wide with tall ceilings, very clean, and beautiful. May is an absolutely wonderful host. She takes care of all the details; sometimes she cooks delicious vietnamese food for the guests, and she is always extremely kind and helpful. The neighborhood is very safe and quiet, but also close to busier areas with restaurants and shops. Also, I work from home and wifi is very very good. Honestly, it couldn't be any better!!

Spacious and clean room with a desk, air purifier and a/c (with heater option for the cold months!). Nice bathroom with hot water and towels provided. The family is incredibly generous and hospitable. They gave us warm jackets to wear as we only had summer clothes haha, and often shared food with us. We could get water and cook in their kitchen independently too. They also did our laundry without charge. Definitely recommended if you prefer to be located outside of the city, or if you want to work online (as we did). There is a bus that you can take to get to the centre for cheap.
