Beautiful view of the coast and peaceful location in Betty’s Bay. Hosts could not have been nicer or more helpful in terms of suggestions for things to do or places to eat. I ended up staying three nights rather than the two nights indicated by the review. A wonderful getaway on the Garden Route!

France was an outstanding host. It is a charming, clean place. We enjoyed the shared kitchenette/dining area and having conversations with another guest and francel. The area is beautiful. If you have a chance, swim at the very close lake. We also hiked robs trail, saw the penguins and went to the botanical gardens.

Excellent location, easy access from main road, close proximity to beach, botanical gardens, coffee shops, restaurants. Excellent value for money, as the unit can accommodate 5 people. Great for a quick getaway out of Cape Town to unplug and recharge. There were wildfires and the owners made sure I was kept updated with evacuation warnings throughout my stay.

I love the unforgiving rawness of the experience. We were so afraid of the baboons but at the same time had a great time laughing at the others reaction to spotting one lol. Being sandwiched between the majesty of the mountain so close it feels like it's in your backyard and the unobstructed view of the crisp blue ocean really cements the experience of tranquility. The property itself is well equipped, clean quite spacious. Amazing value for money, a great way to experience Betty's bay for the first time.

The host was amazing, friendly, helpful and extremely accommodating. He went out of his way to give information about the area and even took us to his local club to watch South Africa play Tonga in the Rugby World Cup. He assisted in allowing us freezer space & luggage storage in his own home. Thank you for a wonderful experience - wish we could have stayed longer! We highly recommend this accommodation.
