5 STAR EXPERIENCE FOR 3 STAR PRICE - i have stayed at numerous establishments over the years and this guesthouse is one of the best. The room was large and very comfortable with a fridge, kettle, microwave & TV. My room was decorated with inspiring and artful decor of a high standard. The linen, duvet & pillows were fresh, clean and plump, and the bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean. I arrived to a warm welcome and a serene setting in a beautiful garden. The location is superb as it is close to town but very peaceful next to a mountain stream. Restaurants are in walking distance.

To sum it up: • Beautiful location with mountain view • Lovely hosts- Very helpful and proactive at ensuring that your stay is comfortable. • Tidiness maintained at all times • Towels and extra pillows, blankets provided- Just take your bathroom essentials and you're set. • Kitchen utensils, microwave, refrigerator - Everything was there in the room. • Wifi - Although I preferred to just sit out and enjoy the view with my coffee. If you are going to use the wifi, the signal varies but works fast.

The owners are really nice people, and they have created something spectacular - a very nice boutique getaway. There is a restaurant on the premises, and the food was fantastic.

one of the most sunset and sunrise i had ever seen.. wow i loved everything about this place.. people and the neighbour, plus its very secure, the whole area is well orgainzed and well designed.. plus the owner of the house was the sweetest person.. thank you so much.. :D

A really cozy place with amazing views. Jane and Martin are exceptional hosts making you feel right at home straight away. The breakfasts in the Courtyard cafe are delicious with a lovely relaxed vibe. I cannot recommend the Courtyard Guesthouse more highly. Just the perfect place to stay in Clarens.
