The place is situated in peace and quiet surroundings with the mountain right in front of us. Dee Dee was so friendly and helpful. We walked around in her little garden which is beautiful and just to be there to take a deep breath of true fresh air, not like in the normal busy cities. Great hostess.

Amanda is a great host and it was definitely worth getting dinner and breakfast at Smithfield House. I loved all her rescue animals. For those who are not animal fans they are not inside the house.

We so enjoy the quirkiness of the place, amazingly creative decor, comfortable beds with top quality linen. Johann is a great cook and made us wonderful dinners and breakfasts. We are also very grateful that we could bring our 2 Belgian Malinois Shepherds with us who were very well behaved & happy. Johann is a wonderful host.
