If you don't have a car and find a place a bit remote, don't worry, local bus operates every 15-20 min. to the center of Bariloche from early morning to midnight. The place is located several minutes walk from Puerto Panuelo where you can take a cruise to some local islands with endemic nature. Highly recommended.

It's new but seems to be constructed with solid, quality materials, so I expect that it will age well. The bunks are super solid, and the mattresses are extremely comfortable. I really liked the decor and ambiance.

I needed a place to stay last minute, and this was one of the only places I could find. I really lucked out. This is a family run spot and from the minute I got there, I was treated like a member of the family. If you want all the stuff that goes along with a big hotel, maybe this isn't your spot. But, if you want a very comfortable cabana and the chance to meet and interact with a very nice local family while taking in amazing mountain views, then this is for you. As a solo traveler I highly recommend it, for the experience and interaction.
