The studio has everything one could need; it is super comfortable, clean, and spacious, with thoughtful touches throughout. Susi went above and beyond to help us plan our stay on the island and gave us lots of tips, including where and how to spot the wildlife. The little dogs, Kimchi and Lucy, were just adorable and very welcoming. The location is unbeatable, in the heart of the town with all amenities a few steps away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The guest house is equipped with 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, bed linen, towels, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchenette, and a balcony with garden views. A private entrance leads guests into the guest house, where they can enjoy some wine or champagne and fruits. There is also a seating area and a fireplace. Peter and Betty were lovely hosts. The B&B is set in a beautiful spot, great for relaxing after a busy day exploring the island, we enjoyed watching the stars at night and spotting the wildlife. The accomodation is very spacious and comfortable, kitchen is well equipped, plenty of provisions for breakfasts. I loved sitting by the window in the evening to watch the kangaroos and fairy wrens graze in the clearing. WiFi is very quick as well. The B&B is in an rural location, but the directions to get there are detailed and there are plenty of signs. Lots of wildlife on the roads at night, so if you're a nervous driver or less experienced with country driving be sure to get back to the B&B before nightfall. The location in the center of the island made day trips to the rest of the island very easy, most places are 30mins drive away. We will definitely be back again, it was the perfect place to spend a week on KI.

Made of stone and recycled timbers there are sea views from every room. It has a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with a shower and bath, and an extra outdoor bathroom. A well designed house which kept temperature stable day and night. Beautiful views / sunsets and tranquil setting.

Wanderers Rest on Kangaroo Island is a small seaside guest house. The beautiful venue has come into new management, a small family run business. The three star facility focuses on customer satisfaction while ensuring hospitable and personable service. The location is beautiful. The rooms were very comfortable and had a wonderful view. We had dinner in our room. Excellent food and Nico owner and chef offered this service despite having an evening where he was serving a 7 course meal to a full restaurant. The breakfast was also excellent and was included in the room price. Lots of delicious homemade produce and fresh food. Would not hesitate to recommend this place. It is a family run business and they could not do more to make us welcome or to advise on places to visit and eat on the island. Hope to come again.

This beachfront property offers access to a terrace, tennis at the tennis court, free private parking and free WiFi. On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the guest house's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. The decor in the Anchorage was quirky and colourful. The property was well equipped and in a good location. I would definitely stay there again as I thought it was reasonably priced and value for money. Kangaroo Island is always a magnificent place to visit.
