Margaret River is a 10-minute drive away. excellent hosts, enjoyed the breakfast cooked to order by chef James coffee by Jo! . ease of parking. highlight for us Norfolk uk folks were the kangaroos on the lawn just outside our door.

With only 4 suites in the retreat, the pool area was often empty meaning we had a couple days completely to ourselves (including Valentine's day) which was amazing! Ken was also lovely, greeted us when we arrived but left you to enjoy your holiday whilst only being a phone call away if we needed anything, perfect situation for us enjoying a romantic week away. Couldn't fault the bed, room or facilities.

The place looks even better than in the photos posted on booking. The house design is beautiful and everything is in complete harmony with nature. We've seen kangaroos and rabbits everyday and the owners are so kind. We travelled WA from Perth to Esperance and stayed at different accommodations, but this was the best at every aspect. We'd love to come back here some day.

Every suite has a private bathroom with a shower, free toiletries and a hair dryer. The room was good, and the different areas were quite defined. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment The selling point was the location. Only 10 minutes from restaurants cafes, the main high street and the waterside. Car parking is good. The owners also had a very formative information pack with lots of recommendations. We used 4 if their food place suggestions

Bed and breakfast guest rooms include a full English breakfast. There are also self-catering three/four bedroom cottages. All cottages have a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine and indoor/outdoor dining options on covered verandahs. The setting is beautiful, although the gardens had suffered in the heat of summer but we could imagine how wonderful they would have been. The self catering chalet felt like home and was very comfotable. The owner, Joy, was very pleasant and informative. We wished we had stopped here on a previous visit to York.
