Set in Saint Martin and only 1 km from Orient Bay Beach, La Villa Hibiscus, Saint Martin offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. The room was absolutely beautiful as was the property. Lots of thoughtful details, like a bug swatter lol. The bed was big and comfortable, and there was an automatic shade so you could make it dark in the room. The coffee maker was really nice. We had a problem with the hot water but that's because we turned the handle the wrong way, and nevertheless the manager came over on a sunday night to help fix it. The restaurant is closed on sunday (we didn't know this) so we didn't get to try it, but the following day after breakfast (which was delicious-- fruit was so sweet and perfect) we treated ourselves to some of the amazing cocktails and they did not disappoint.

Offering quiet street views, casa maria is an accommodation set in La Romana, 8.1 km from Teeth of the Dog and 12 km from Dye Fore. Honestly everything was great. Maria is so sweet and she runs the place herself. She makes breakfast every morning and makes getting around for the day easy, just ask and she'll call up a motocoach or car. It's on the upper floor of her house (separate entrance up the stairs) and there's three rooms that are a great size with modern bathrooms, fans and A/C. The shared area is spacious and gorgeous, with a full kitchen, dining table and a nook with comfy chairs by the windows. It's in a residential area with a colmado on the corner if you need a quick snack or drink. All in all I think this was my favorite place I stayed at while in DR, and I wouldn't stay anywhere else in La Romana :). (Pics were taken after checkout but the linen and sheets were great as well!)

Located in Las Terrenas, a few steps from Punta Popy Beach, guest house MY WAY provides accommodation with a terrace, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. Property was exactly as the photos indicated. My Way Hotel was clean and it was located right across from the beach. Staff at property were very welcoming and eager to accommodate. This place was actually the best in the whole island where we stayed. The whole place was beautiful, sparkling clean, i felt like Alice in wonderland :) the only bad thing was that we couldnt stay longer because or our schedule. I really recommend this place to everybody, Lily is an angel, she waited for us with everything ready to celebrate our honeymoon. I really really wish to go back to her place, Highly recommended :)

Located in Irish Town, Prince Valley Guesthouse features accommodation with seating area. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The views were sublime and our room was cozy and clean. Really loved the dinner they served us too! Be aware that driving there is an adventure and kinda scary at times but worth it for this unique experience.

Amazing property, located right next to the coolest jungle trail. Mango trees in the garden, fresh eggs in the kitchen, yoga mats and hammocks, awesome travellers to have beers at sunset by the beach… I mean what else do you need ?
