It was our first time in Alto Paraíso and Eduardo was an incredible host, making us feel welcome even before we arrived and helping us with everything we needed while we were there (connecting us with guides and suggesting great experiences). The facilities were extremely comfortable and clean.

You are in the middle of the nature and feel like you are in a different world. The private bungalows are amazing and kept so clean with spectacular views! Rodrigo was incredible - he would help us with a plan for everyday and even took us on our first hike. Hes so accommodating and even offered us a free upgrade to a nicer bungalow because it was free. He went above and beyond when my friend needed to join a last minute work conference and provided us with access to another property in sao jorge (the city) for more reliable internet access. Could not recommend this place more! However, the drive in can be tricky so though you don’t need 4 wheel drive if you’re not used to off roading 4 wheel drive would be more beneficial as it’s about 4km on a dirt road to get to the property through jungle with no reception. But totally worth it when you get there! Would 100% go back here and plan to one day! One of my favourite places to stay! Also you have to be ok with insects and nature as it’s a very untouched spot. We loved it and couldn’t rave more about it!
