Situated in Coal Harbour, 22 km from Port Hardy Ferry Terminal, The Oceanfront Inn on Stephens Bay features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and water sports facilities. Stephen’s Inn is for sure one of the most special places you could visit on Vancouver island: the view right out on to the water, having some sea lions say hello every now and then, watching the full moon rise over the hills… it’s such a magical view, that you can get both out of the super comfy bed and out of the bathing tub, that’s big enough for two. Stephen is a chef, creating breakfast that’s better than any food we tried on the island- with lots of nice seafood fresh out of the ocean. One day we took the kayaks that are free to use, travelled down the coast and watched the orcas blow their water fountains from a far. The detail and care Michelle and Stephen put in hosting their guests made us feel warmly welcomed, making it really hard to finally pack our bags and leave. We will for sure come back!

Nimpkish Hotel is located on the beachfront in Alert Bay, Cormorant Island. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a private bathroom. The location is fantastic. The owner and her husband are so friendly and welcoming. A great hotel.

Featuring inner courtyard views, Garden House features accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 6.7 km from Comox Ferry Terminal. Awesome owners and so helpful. Great facilities. Never given such a high rating and for the price awesome. Cheers Bob…. Tomatoes were great!

Offering a barbecue and sun terrace, AnnArthur Guest House is located in Nanaimo, 1.2 km from Nanaimo Bastion. Free private parking is available on site. Perfectly located with lovely views to the sea. Self contained unit, perfect for our stay. We only stayed one night as we were travelling between Ucluelet and Victoria but would happily have stayed for longer. Very comfortable, had an excellent night's sleep. Everything that you could want was provided by the host.

Seine Boat Inn offers accommodation in Alert Bay, on Cormorant Island. A scenic ferry ride takes guests to the property. Rooms include a flat-screen TV. the view was amazing and the room we had was at the front facing the water with complete privacy.

Ucluelet Aquarium is 3 minutes’ drive from this non-smoking Ucluelet property. Free WiFi is included. Spring Cove views are offered. Everything was great! I had a problem with the toilet flush but it was repaired in one hour. The rooms are absolutely nice with a great look and really comfortable. Thank you :)

The Tofino Paddler’s Inn is perched on the waterfront of downtown Tofino. The building has a lot of character being around a 100 years old and the town’s original hotel. The Inn has five rooms. Great place with stay in Tofino with the best view! The owner John and the team are just super friendly and we felt very comfortable!

This holiday home on Vancouver Island overlooks the waters of Clayoquot Sound. Free in-room WiFi is available. Chesterman Beach is 2 minutes’ walk away. This guesthouse is in a beautiful location, very close to Chesterman beach, and about 5km from Tofino town centre. The facilities within the guesthouse have been nicely thought out. The back of the main house has a fabulous platform to chill and watch nature. Idyllic view.
