Located in Taverne, 10 km from Lugano, Motto del Gallo is a refurbished house from the 15th century, offering a restaurant awarded with 15 Gault Millau points. An absolute gem in Ticino! Exceptional restaurant, very kind host and an accomodation restored with love and great attention. The annex building I was staying in was full of historical furniture, well equipped and very cozy. Degustation menu at the restaurant is an absolute must. Will come back with great pleasure!

Offering free bikes and lake view, Dolceresio Lugano Lake B&B is set in Brusino Arsizio, 16 km from Swiss Miniatur and 17 km from Villa Panza. The location of the B&B is lovely, a small quiet village on the lakeshore. The rooms are clean and well kept, our room had a lakeside view and it made for a beautiful wake up in the morning. They leave your keys in a little safe outside the building so you can arrive and check in by yourself at any hour, even at night, which is very handy. Breakfast was amazing, the owner served us at the table and offered us many kinds of homemade bread, they were extremely kind and welcoming, made us feel really well taken care of!

Located in the centre of Tesserete, the family-run Ristorante Stazione is just 50 metres from Tesserete Train Station. Fantastic place. For sure simpler than a big name hotel but super friendly, clean and comfortable. For me it was the perfect place to stay in a beautiful area. Super happy.
