Exceptional restaurant, very kind host and an accomodation restored with love and great attention. The annex building I was staying in was full of historical furniture, well equipped and very cozy. Degustation menu at the restaurant is an absolute must. Will come back with great pleasure!

Villa del Sole Garni is located in Ponte Tresa, a 20-minute walk from Lake Lugano. It offers accommodation with kitchenettes and terraces, overlooking Monte di Varese and Malcantone. Located in the centre of Tesserete, the family-run Ristorante Stazione is just 50 metres from Tesserete Train Station. Fantastic place. For sure simpler than a big name hotel but super friendly, clean and comfortable. For me it was the perfect place to stay in a beautiful area. Super happy.

The host is kind, caring, and very helpful, having helped us to move around Lugano with good indications and suggestions. Clean and spacious room. Delicious breakfast, too! Nice coffee and homemade jam. Ostia Americana overlooks Lugano not far from the city center (5 minutes by bus), in a quiet place.
