This place is a gem. The building and rooms are beautiful . The kitchen is well equipped. The host is very welcoming and happy to chat about things to see / do in the area (if you speak French, otherwise you may need some help from Google translate). And the location, while far from Sion, is close to some good hiking trails along the Bisse d'Ayant or Clavau. For the price, this place is a deal.

Chambre d'hôte Valère is set in Sion, 22 km from Crans-sur-Sierre. This pet-friendly guest house also has free WiFi. Everything we needed was available. The apartment was clean and roomy. The balcony was lovely. We had a wonderful stay.
