Loved the location on South Avenue in Pingyao Ancient City. The front is a restaurant with rooms in the back after going through a traditional courtyard. The rooms are renovated and up to date. The bed was comfortable!!! Most importantly, the hostess was extremely kind and helpful. She explained everything (in English) and provided a plan to best explore town. Really don’t think twice before booking this gem of a place!

Pingyao hu lu wa Home Inn asub ajaloolises hoones Pingyaos, 300 meetri kaugusel Qingxu Guanist. Külalised saavad tasuta jalgrattaid kasutada ja sisehoovi imetleda. The owner is really helpful and welcome. The room is beautiful and very cosy . It is not really in centre,but is a very peaceful location which I prefer.

For a very low price I've got a room only for myself. They gave me not only towel for free but also shower gel, shampoo, toothpaste and even toothbrush. Owners speak English communicatively and they are very helpful.

Beautiful accommodation at the centre of ancient city of Pingyao in the bustling South Street. The owner and staff are very friendly, warm and helpful. They picked us up from the station and brought us to Ancient City (cars are not allowed inside) and also brought us on the day of departure, both for very reasonable fees, because we were with 5, too many for a taxi. The hotel and rooms were in a traditional style, allowing for great pictures.The beds and cushions were very comfortable for us. The bathroom and toilet are combined in a small room, but it wasn't bothersome.The owner knows the nearby shops and good spots to go to, definitely ask for tips. We enjoyed our 2 nights and 3 days in Pingyao a lot, definitely recommended.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. It already looked pretty from the photos on the website, but it was somehow even more amazing in real life! The room was also very nice, and the location was great.

Lao Cheng Gen Hostel asub Pingyao vanalinnas, mis on UNESCO maailmapärandi nimistusse kuuluv. Xianya, endine maakonna valitsus, jääb 10-minutilise jalutuskäigu kaugusele. Absolutely stunning front yard, very helpfull staff, good location. Amazing value for the price. :)
