The place is very well set up and the owners are kind and helpful people. It's a family operation with lots of experience in hospitality. The rooms are clean and functional. The meals were nice too. We would definitely stay here again.

The staff did their best to make us feel comfortable and went above and beyond. The breakfast is very, very good, to the point that on our second day I asked them not to give us so much food! The swimming pool was great for a dip at the end of a hot day. The scenery is beautiful and the room comfortable. The location is good, it's a 15-minute walk from the town of S.Filipe and a 10-minute walk from the airport. The hotel is in a very quiet area.

I was upgraded to a room with balcony facing the sea. Absolutely delightful sight. Very quiet hotel with everything you need. Of course it's very impersonal, a generic hotel room, so if you're looking for an authentic Cabo Verdian experience this is not for you, but if you're looking for a clean, spacious, quiet and comfortable place to rest, it is perfect. The cleanliness was not perfect but was pretty good ; nothing too problematic. The AC is a huge advantage!

Set in São Filipe, within 200 metres of Sao Filipe Beach, Casa Colonial Koenig offers accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning and an outdoor swimming pool. Nice large room, basic furniture but adequate and practical, fairly quiet, clean and tidy. The hotel has charm as does the entire town of Sao Felipe. Staff were friendly. Breakfast is basic but adequate. Restaurant service at the sister hotel very slow at times.
