Everything was absolutely perfect, this is the best place I’ve stayed in in Cape Verde and I’ve visited plenty of islands! From the kindest, 24/7 available staff, to the magical location, the great quality of everything in the apartment, view, wide space, nice breakfast, available extras, excellent cleaning, flexible check in and out, everything! I will stay here every time I visit Santo Antao for sure!

We had a marvelous 14 day stay at Luz d'Sol. João and his family are such lovely and generous hosts, João and his eldest son are also good cooks. Comfortable room with terrace, excellent bedding, splendid and plentiful breakfast which varies from day to day. Cidade das Pombas is the best part of the island to discover the island anyway, and João knows everything you might need to know.Totally recommended!

The girls were so kind and helpful and David speaks English super well and was very prompt to answer any questions I had about the local area and b&b. Absolutely recommend staying here if you’re in ponta do sol. WiFi is also decently fast for Cape Verde standards. Super clean rooms and bathrooms. Breakfast was also delicious every morning.

Excellent location, in the middle of a beautiful valley, with views of the sea on one side and the mountains on the other. The dinner is really excellent, really no reason to go elsewhere. Beautiful stone cottages scattered around the property, with plenty of space to relax as well, in a very green corner of Santo Antao.

The hotel is tucked away in Eito (around 20mins walk to Pombas) and surrounded by lush vegetation.. a real disconnection from real life :) That being said the wifi works really well if needs be. Antonio was a great help suggesting hikes and restaurants in the area as well as being super friendly. The added bonuses were the breakfast to get ready for the long walks and the pool afterwards! Thanks to Antonio and your team for making the stay super memorable.
