Amazing view all around. The rooms are simple but well put together, clean, and comfortable. Excellent beds and warm bedding. Great shower with plenty of hot water. The pool, jacuzzi and steam bath were an awesome plus. The look of the lake and mountains is unparalleled. Breakfast was awesome. Beautiful place and great value.

The family who own and manage the Hostal showed us much kindness and hospitality during our stay in Otavalo. It was a pleasur staying 2 nights at Hostal Curinan and very. They are a lovely family. The rooms were comfortable and clean. There is beautiful view of Otavalo and the surroundings.

We loved this place. Amazing plants, birds, coffee and of course people. Our child liked dogs very much. We would like to come back again. Hence we recommend this place. Coffee trip also very interesting - with passion.

Loved our host, very sweet people and didn't mind me using Google translate to communicate better. He even took us to a few places most visitors probably don't think about. They prepared us dinner one night which was great! The house is super cute and clean, love the view to the lake. The town is safe to walk I'm at night. Make sure to go to Bambu Grill. Great place to eat.

Located 3 km from Cotacachi commercial centre, Hacienda San Isidro De Iltaqui offers free WiFi and breakfast. The accommodation is set in an organic farm in a colonial hacienda. It's difficult to pick just one thing that we liked because the Hacienda San Isidro de Iltaqui was extraordinary in so many ways! We loved the hacienda's ambiance, the farm fresh food was delicious, and the hosts offered attentive, personal, old world hospitality that will bring us back. Cannot recommend highly enough.

This colourful hostel offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and shared bathrooms in Esperanza town, only 100 metres from Santa Maria de la Esperanza church. Horse riding and trekking trips can be booked. I had an excellent stay at Refugio Terra Esperanza. Emerson was so helpful in answering all my questions. Excellent services. He cooked me breakfast for $3 and helped me call a taxi to Cumbre Imbabura (which I highly recommend). The place itself is rustic, but charming and cozy. It has great views of Imbabura and Cayambe, so definitely try to wake up early for that. Overall, I would highly recommend this refugio to anyone traveling here. Emerson is a great host and I could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you Emerson!

Set in a charming colonial-style house built 300 years ago, Hosteria Hacienda Pinsaqui features 2 restaurants, and breakfast is provided. Otavalo city centre is 5 km away. Authentic, beautiful old hacienda, set in delightful sloping grounds, with views to mountains either side. We had probably the best room, no 7. Lovely public rooms. Very helpful staff. Nice vibe. Excellent location. We had 4 nights and could have managed a fifth. The rim walk around the crater lake Cuicocha was one of the best day hikes in our life 10/10 wow. 5 hours solid walking. Horse riding and Condor centre also good - 8/10. Otavalo market OK 7/10 and worth going to on a Saturday but. Food was so good we didn’t bother to eat in Octavalo.

This 150 year-old farmhouse is tucked in a lush mountain valley less than 2 hours from Quito. It features a garden, volleyball and football courts, and free private parking. We loved the fireplace in the room and the hot water bottles they put in your bed at night. The property is beautiful and we enjoyed walking around the gardens. We also loved the dogs, especially Toby! We miss him!
