Located just 28 km from Lieksa, in the heart of Finnish Karelia, this traditional farmhouse style B&B offers accommodation next to Lake Pielinen. Free WiFi featured in the common areas. A wonderful guesthouse in a lovely, scenic location by the lake Pielinen, with delicious food and the best furry mascot - a friendly, easy-going Finnish Lapphund named Lilli. We stayed in a generously sized room with comfortable beds and a nice view. The breakfast was excellent, as was the dinner, and the guesthouse was also selling lovely local products and hand-carved animals. The guesthouse also had a great lounge room area upstairs that our toddler absolutely loved.

Set a 10-minute drive from Koli village, this hostel offers rooms and apartments with free WiFi access. Koli National Park is a 10-minute drive away. This place was clean and unique. Worth visiting. You can have your own privacy or you can socialize with other guests. The owner was amazing and really make people feel welcome. She also has a wonderful knowledge about the area and was keen to help us find our way to any activity we wanted, for example where’s the best place to watch sunset or the most calm and peaceful beach to swim.

Situated by Lake Valkealampi, Guesthouse Koli Freetime offers free parking and accommodation with a TV. Koli National Park is a 15-minute drive away. The room was clean and cozy. The house and the surrounding land were very nice with direct access to a lake. There were different types of boats available for free of charge. The sauna facilities were also great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice and only cost around 10 euros.
