Very cosy apartment in the mountains, with a super friendly host. She gave us a welcome drink, re-made our beds (we wanted 2 single beds), gave us good advice about some places nearby and generally had a great chat with her. The breakfast was amazing too. We had a stroll in the evening and stumbled on an industrial site for perfumes, that was an interesting experience. In the morning she recommended a perfume factory to visit and so we did, and it was really worth it!

A recently renovated guest house in Le Barroux and within 36 km of Papal Palace, L'Iris de Suse features pool with a view, comfortable soundproof rooms and free WiFi. We loved Carole and Jean Jacques who were extremely warm and welcoming and very helpful in organising our stay . The room was most comfortable and beautifully designed and decorated. The breakfast was exceptional overlooking the beautiful gardens. The property is within easy walking distance of Avignon which was an added bonus!
