I enjoyed my stay immensely. Ollie was super welcoming and I felt comfortable from the first moment. The rooms and beds are big enough and have a homely feel to them. The breakfast is insanely good. Would recommend everything but definitely try the porridge with whisky, honey and cream. I'll definitely be back whenever I visit Edinburgh. Location is near the tram as well.

The room was perfectly clean. The breakfast was good and was served with a fantastic homemade sourdough bread baked by Rowena. They served a vegetarian option of the Scottish breakfast for us. I will definitely come back:)

Chris and Sinead were incredible hosts and made us feel at home from check-in. The breakfast each morning was something we looked forward to each day. It was restaurant quality (wife asked for a recipe) and the soft background music (personal note here) was spot on. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The property is located near a bus stop, so getting around isn’t an issue. Lastly, it’s a 2 minute (max) skip down to the beach. It’s one block away.
