Housed in a building dating from 2024, this guest house is 26 km from the Volcano Atitlan. The accommodation offers a sauna, free WiFi throughout the property and family rooms. The cabaña is very authentic and charming, well located in the center of San Juan in a neighborhood that is little touristy, all what we were looking for. Javier and Maria were incredible host, very interesting, passionate and humanist but also very generous (they offered me an herbal tea when I was sick). The view is just stunning and the place has all the comfort needed (even hot shower). We would recommend it to anyone coming to Atitlan.

Located within 24 km of Volcano Atitlan in San Pedro La Laguna, Hospedaje Lolita features accommodation with seating area. This guest house offers accommodation with a patio. The guest house provides mountain views, a sun terrace, a 24-hour front desk, and free WiFi is available. Safe, comfy, clean and centrally located rooms at a reasonable price. The bed linen and blanket were crisp and clean. There’s a communal kitchen that’s equipped with fridge, microwave and stove top. It’s cleaned spotless every day. Hammocks hung along the entrance garden and terrace are great touch. Drinking water refills is provided at cost, from 1 to 3Q a day (depending on container size) another thoughtful touch as it’s environmentally friendly to and inexpensive to refill. There are plenty of nearby laundry service for as low as 4 to 5 Q a lb. The property is a short walk to the docks where the boats take you to the nearby towns and walking distance to the restaurants and bars but far enough to enjoy a quiet sleep. The owner is helpful, honest and fair. I’d definitely return. San Juan is an easy and pleasant 20 min walk from here.
