Very accommodating and excellent hosts. Not many guests, as most people stay at their larger location across the street. I originally booked 3 nights online, but stayed again after I returned from a trek and they changed me the same excellent rate I got online.

I can't say enough good things about Raku guesthouse. Have really enjoyed my stay with them this week (4 nights in the end), the family running the place are lovely and have plenty of local knowledge they are happy to share. Facilities excellent, good quality and clean. I will return here next time I'm in Leh

The property is a 1-minute walk from Namgyal Tsemo Gompa and a 19-minute walk from Soma Gompa. Loved the room. It was really spacious and clean and wonderful light through all the windows. Yang was always available and very helpful with giving advice and organising taxis, etc. The food was delicious. Home-made and really fresh and reasonably priced. The location was also great, especially if you're someone who does not like to be in the hub but was only a 20-25 minute walk to the bazaar.
