The Ashram is very close to the temples I wanted to visit & get the feeling of it. All the staff were very nice and kind. Sona and her family were so nice to spend time with (her son is an excellent artist), the room was great - clean and comfortable with a fridge and storage space for bags - there is a nice roof to look over varanasi, and Sona can help with travel/tours/food/laundry and pretty much anything you need. Her cooking is also fantastic as is her chai! It's also in a great location by Assi Ghat which has lots of street vendors, restaurants etc. We will definitely return here if we visit Varanasi again
