Featuring a restaurant and cafe on site, Blabjorg Resort is in the fishing village of Borgarfjordur Eystri, 71 km from Egilsstadir. We arrived when the kitchen was closed, but they brought us tomato soup and fish stew (both dishes were delicious). Breakfast was nice. The place where we went to see the puffins in the morning is 6-7 minutes away by car

Finnstaðir has barbecue facilities and a garden. A hot tub is available for guests. Free WiFi is offered. All units at the guest house are equipped with a seating area and a TV. I liked everything! My family spent lovely evening, hot tub was very nice for us. We liked animals around us, especially friendly dog and cat. They visited us and made a great company. Most important we felt like at home… super cozy!

Set in a characteristic wooden house, Við Lónið Guesthouse is an accommodation in Seyðisfjörður. Property is in a great location, probally the best in the area if it was my opinion! The room was super clean and cute. Details were added that made it that much more comfortable and over the top like the coffee station! Most importantly , the host was super nice and checked in on us which we have yet to see in our whole ten days in Iceland.

Set on a traditional Icelandic farm, Setberg Guesthouse is located outside of Höfn, a 14-minute drive from the seaside village centre. The room was cosy and super clean. The living room and kitchen area is well equipped. All amenities are available. The view from the window was amazing. The location is good for aurora watching at night too.

Guesthouse Birkifell is located in Höfn and offers accommodation with a garden, barbecue facilities and a terrace. Free WiFi is available. There is a full kitchen with a dishwasher and a microwave. We loved this amazing little cabin at the foothills of the mountains! So peaceful and relaxing. The hot tub was fantastic and had incredible views. Hosts were amazing and had 2 very friendly and playful dogs. Close to a glacier which we managed to have to ourselves after a morning hot tub. Heating and hot water in the cabin was great. Beds very comfy.

Situated on a horse farm by Iceland’s Ring Road, this bed and breakfast is 8 km from Höfn village. It offers bright and basic rooms with free WiFi access and mountain views. Very well organised accommodation, where every little detail was taken care of. We felt at home the moment we arrived, soaking wet from the rain. Inga very kindly helped us with the drying of our shoes and laundry, too. The room was cosy, with clean sheets and blackout curtains, which was especially useful in summer. Each room had a clean, private heated toilet down the hallway. Breakfast was filling and had everything - bread, juice, yogurt, jam, ham, cheese, traditional cake and tea/coffee. Lastly, Inga was very kind to show us around her farm, sharing about her horses and sheep. We are so glad to have chosen Dynjandi for our travels around Hofn!
