Check-in and check-out was super easy. Communication with our really friendly host always quick and helpful. The apartment is cute and has all you need for two: Well-stocked kitchenette, super clean and modern bathroom, a giant TV (even though we never switched it on), and the place has its own private hot tub in the backyard! The location is perfect as it's just around the corner from Selfoss' central roundabout, so you'll find it easily and have a great base for exploring Iceland's beautiful southside. Also, you can drive to Reykjavík in just about one hour.

La ubicación nos encantó, en la segunda noche pudimos ver auroras boreales justo en la entrada del hospedaje

Strýta Guesthouse está en Hveragerði, a 50 km de The Pearl y a 50 km de Iglesia de Hallgrímur, en una zona donde se puede practicar senderismo. Great location and great house. Everything we could possibly need was provided. It has a nice size kitchen so you can cook your own meals. It was great to have our own hot tub to relax in after a day out and about. Great value!

It's a fabulous location. The whole place is remarkable - the pool (less known than the big tourist-oriented pools of the west, but cozy and beautiful), its surroundings (decent hiking trails without a single person in view), the room itself, and - last but not least - the staff, very helpful and proficient. The rooms are extremely clean (and I mean it, I saw clinics dirtier than that), the kitchen is well equipped, and the appliances are in good shape. Moreover, the location is very quiet by night.

Estos apartamentos modernos e independientes están situados en la localidad de Hveragerdi, a 45 km de Reykjavík. Nice quiet place in Hveragerdi, an apartment with all you need. The hosts live there so they were nice to us when we arrived a bit later in the evening. They even asks us if we wanted to use the hot tub outside or have anything to wash. The rooms look exactly as in the picture, the heating was ok, the kitchen was fully equipped if you wanted to eat in, the bed was really comfortable and the bathroom had a lot of towels for the two of us. 10/10.

Este alojamiento, situado entre las localidades de Eyrarbakki y Selfoss, ofrece una sauna, una bañera de hidromasaje al aire libre y vistas panorámicas a la campiña. Llegamos después de hacer el círculo dorado cansados y lloviendo. Nos ofreció usar el jacuzzi, salimos de allí como nuevos y relajados. La casa es espectacular, no falta detalle alguno, decorada con muy buen gusto. El dueño es amable y servicial. La habitación era grande a destacar los colchones que eran muy cómodos. Tienen WI-FI. Hay dos baños, grandes y completos. El desayuno era variado y rico. Aparcamiento en la misma puerta. Nos hubiera gustado poder estar más tiempo en esta estupenda casa. Fue nuestra mejor estancia en Islandia. GRACIAS. Si vuelvo por Islandia sin duda, volveré allí, nos queda pendiente ver las auroras boreales desde el estupendo jacuzzi.
