El Birkilauf está situado en Myvatn, a 2,6 km de los baños naturales de Myvatn, y ofrece una serie de servicios, como vistas al lago y a las montañas. Our host was wonderful, very knowledgeable of the area with lots of tips. We arrived to a wonderful surprise of homemade bread and food in the kitchen for breakfast. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The patio has a great view of the sunset which was wonderful after a long day. If I travel to Myvatn again, I know where I will be staying :)

El Eldá Guesthouse se encuentra en Reykjahlíð, a pocos minutos a pie del lago Myvatn. Hay un campo de golf a 750 metros y las habitaciones cuentan con escritorio, lavamanos y conexión wifi gratis. The staff is very helpful since we came later than 8:00 pm but we got all information/help we need. The room is clean and quiet. The location is good that is close to the lake Myvatn and also the camp-site where my friend stayed. Good value.

El Skútustadir Guesthouse ocupa una granja en la orilla sur del lago Mývatn. Ofrece cocina y salón de uso compartido, vistas a la montaña, wifi gratis y estacionamiento gratuito. It was one of best guesthouses i have stayed in Iceland. Clean cozy rooms and friendly staff. Additonally Skútustadir was perfect. I have tried everything unique this farm had to offer. Geysir bread, geysir beer, smoked trout, burger, angelica tea. Everything from localy grown plants or livestock. Loved it. And last, but not least. They make the best Gelato I had outside Italy!!

El lugar es precioso , la cabaña es bonita , muy amplia y muy bien equipada . Pudimos ver la aurora boreal . Tu auto lo puedes dejar junto a tu cabaña . Hay unos perros muy amigables . Opción a desayuno y es muy bueno , el comedor es muy acogedor .

Esta pensión de gestión familiar ofrece vistas a la montaña Sandfell y se encuentra a 5 km de la carretera Hringvegur y a 13 km del lago Mývatn. Clean room, comfy bed. Spacious communal areas, hot tub always open and with beautiful scenario on the countryside and the animals. Delicious and generous breakfast with homemade products. We would definitely stay again, happened to see also the Northern Lights on a clear and starry night.

El Hlíd Hostel ofrece habitaciones y casas de campo y se encuentra en Reykjahlíd, a 500 metros del lago Mývatn. El estacionamiento y la conexión WiFi son gratuitos. Las dependencias, el equipo y utensilios que se encuentran en la cocina para preparar comida, está bien preparada. Ciertamente el Hostal está puede recibir un flujo alto de pasajeros. Tiene una excelente ubicación si vas en vehículo, pues se encuentra al lado de un lago y evidencias de actividad volcánica, por lo que el entorno es muy fotografiable.
