Located within 2.6 km of Myvatn Nature Baths, Birkilauf in Myvatn has a number of amenities, including lake and mountain views. If I could give more than 10, I would happily do it. It was a fantastic apartment. I was a bit hesitant about shared kitchen initially. But it was absolutely fine. It was huge and exceptionally clean, had loads of utensils and cooking equipment. A full size dishwasher. So they have set up the kitchen in a way that multiple people can cook same time. They also come every morning to clean and reset the kitchen. They also give free supplies like breads, tomato, butter, oils etc. Washing machine came in very handy as this was day 7 of our Iceland trip when we stayed in Birkilauf. Rooms are very nice, neat and clean. Bathroom also looks newly done up Location is very close to all main areas like Hverir geothermal, Hverfjall Volcano and Dimmuborgir and lake Myvatn. Overall everything was great. Highly recommend.

Very clean, great shared kitchen, bedroom large and comfortable. The staff is amazing especially Monika who helped me pay a parking fine. She went above and beyond being helpful. A really lovely person that helped me and made my stay so nice.

We got an upgrade from a bedroom to a full cottage. The Cottage was spacious and new. The breakfast buffet and included homemade products. Try the ice cream at the shop.

Situated by Lake Mývatn, this guest house offers basic rooms with shared facilities. The Mývatn Nature Baths is a 10-minute drive away. Check in/out was very quick and easy, with codes, no personnel. Washbasin within the room is so comfortable. The common kitchen area is really huge and equipped.

Perfect location, minutes drive from the lake. The local food that is served in the restaurant tasted very good. I've stayed in the guesthouse. The room was basic but sufficient, the bathroom spotless clean. And after an active day, the possibility to relax in the hot tubs with magnificent views.

Vogahraun 4, a property with a garden, is located in Myvatn, 5.8 km from Myvatn Nature Baths. The location is ideal for sightseeing, hiking and 4x4.
