The family-run Vogafjos Guesthouse is set in a unique natural environment on the eastern shore of Lake Myvatn. It offers rooms with a patio and free Wi-Fi. Second time here and everything was as perfect as I remembered. Great local food and breakfast.

Located within 2.6 km of Myvatn Nature Baths, Birkilauf in Myvatn has a number of amenities, including lake and mountain views. Our host was wonderful, very knowledgeable of the area with lots of tips. We arrived to a wonderful surprise of homemade bread and food in the kitchen for breakfast. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The patio has a great view of the sunset which was wonderful after a long day. If I travel to Myvatn again, I know where I will be staying :)

Gostišče Eldá se nahaja v Reykjahlíðu, le nekaj minut hoje stran od jezera Myvatn. Igrišče za golf je 750 m stran. Vse sobe vključujejo pisalno mizo, umivalnik in brezplačen WiFi. Kopalnice so skupne.... The staff is very helpful since we came later than 8:00 pm but we got all information/help we need. The room is clean and quiet. The location is good that is close to the lake Myvatn and also the camp-site where my friend stayed. Good value.

Nastanitev Skútustadir Guesthouse se nahaja na kmetiji na južni obali jezera Mývatn ter ponuja pogled na gore in skupno kuhinjo/salon. Uporabljate lahko brezplačen WiFi in brezplačno parkirišče. It was one of best guesthouses i have stayed in Iceland. Clean cozy rooms and friendly staff. Additonally Skútustadir was perfect. I have tried everything unique this farm had to offer. Geysir bread, geysir beer, smoked trout, burger, angelica tea. Everything from localy grown plants or livestock. Loved it. And last, but not least. They make the best Gelato I had outside Italy!!

The Mývatn Nature Baths is a 10-minute drive away. very very clean for a hostel. i wasnt expecting much but it was SUPER CLEAN!! highly recommend!! kitchen was fully equipped and even the shared toilet is very clean. the room we got has a basin too!

Quietly located 5 km from Iceland's Ring Road and 13 km from Lake Mývatn, this family-run guest house offers views over Sandfell Mountain. Clean room, comfy bed. Spacious communal areas, hot tub always open and with beautiful scenario on the countryside and the animals. Delicious and generous breakfast with homemade products. We would definitely stay again, happened to see also the Northern Lights on a clear and starry night.

Great location - easy to check in / out. Super clean - nice private bathroom facilities. All that you need to spend the night in Myvatn! Thanks a lot! ☺️

Offering rooms and cottages, Hlíd Hostel is 500 metres from Lake Mývatn, in Reykjahlíd. WiFi and parking are free. Facilities include a BBQ area, terrace and shared kitchen. the location is great and given the very limited options in the area this is a great choice. we stayed in the shared room with 4 beds and I was superafraid how it will go but went very well. the room was clean and the common kitchen area was spacios and well equiped. we spent most of the time there. the check in and check out was very efficient
