You have a beautiful porch to see auroras, a fully equipped kitchen that will allow you to prepare your meals and a cozy living room to relax after a full day.

Eldá Guesthouse is located in Reykjahlíð, just a few minutes on foot from Lake Myvatn. There is a golf course 750 metres from the property. Each room includes a work desk, a wash basin and free WiFi. The staff is very helpful since we came later than 8:00 pm but we got all information/help we need. The room is clean and quiet. The location is good that is close to the lake Myvatn and also the camp-site where my friend stayed. Good value.

Objekat Skútustadir Guesthouse se nalazi na farmi pored južne obale jezera Mývatn. U ponudi je smeštaj sa pogledom na planinu i zajedničkom kuhinjom/salonom. It was one of best guesthouses i have stayed in Iceland. Clean cozy rooms and friendly staff. Additonally Skútustadir was perfect. I have tried everything unique this farm had to offer. Geysir bread, geysir beer, smoked trout, burger, angelica tea. Everything from localy grown plants or livestock. Loved it. And last, but not least. They make the best Gelato I had outside Italy!!

The Mývatn Nature Baths is a 10-minute drive away. sheep right next door! great pizza right next door! building is lovely- fantastic common area and really nice kitchen with fridge space designated for each room. bathrooms and showers large and clean - towels and bath mats provided. rooms are comfortable with sink and small storage area - linens provided.

Quietly located 5 km from Iceland's Ring Road and 13 km from Lake Mývatn, this family-run guest house offers views over Sandfell Mountain. Clean room, comfy bed. Spacious communal areas, hot tub always open and with beautiful scenario on the countryside and the animals. Delicious and generous breakfast with homemade products. We would definitely stay again, happened to see also the Northern Lights on a clear and starry night.

Offering rooms and cottages, Hlíd Hostel is 500 metres from Lake Mývatn, in Reykjahlíd. WiFi and parking are free. Facilities include a BBQ area, terrace and shared kitchen. the location is great and given the very limited options in the area this is a great choice. we stayed in the shared room with 4 beds and I was superafraid how it will go but went very well. the room was clean and the common kitchen area was spacios and well equiped. we spent most of the time there. the check in and check out was very efficient
