The breakfast waffles with homemade rhubarb jam are a true delight, even better when accompanied by Loa's stories. We will for sure come back!

Lækjaborgir Guesthouse is located in Kálfafell, 26 km east of Kirkjubæjarklaustur. Free WiFi is offered throughout the property and free private parking is available on site. The cottage was perfect. Kitchen was very well equipped and the space extremely comfortable. Enjoyed every minute. Special thanks to the host as she was more than accommodating.

The hosts were amazing. This was my first guesthouse experience and it exceeded my expectations. We got there and it was already dark. We noticed that the northern lights could be out and the hosts did whatever they could to help us see them. It was great! We were the only 2 people booked for the night but when we woke up there was this massive and delicious breakfast. I was astounded by all the different kinds of food they offered. I would stay here all nights if we weren’t going to drive around Iceland.

A cozy guest house, our best stay in Iceland! Véronique is super friendly and welcoming. We felt like we were at home. The facility is very very clean and equipped with everything we need. Beds are comfortable, the shower and the toilet are also very clean. Slightly out of the busy area made it easy to see the northern lights. All that for a very affordable price.

Set in Vík and only 1 km from Reynisfjara Beach, Prestshús 2 Guesthouse offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Our host Ragga was so amazing, the house is a lovely little farmhouse with multiple guestrooms. The rooms were all clean and the house was very comfortable. The location is a short walk down to the Black Sand beaches and close to town. Ragga also took us to see the lambs and sheep on the farm and they were so cute! Overall it was an incredible stay and I would highly recommend it!
