Would love to come back just to talk to him more. He was super helpful and me figuring out where to go once I found out the Dogo Onsen was under construction and fully booked. Which to be honest, was confusing as I think the Dogo Onsen website specifically mentions there are no reservations. Location was perfect, literally around the corner from Dogo Onsen, a few other onsens and the shopping area with good souvenir/clothes shops and good restaurants.

Located within 17 km of Henjou-in Temple and 18 km of Kawara Museum, Cyclo No Ie provides rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Imabari. The room, shower rooms, and the kitchen are very clean. And, the kitchen is fully equipped, also there is free tea and coffee. You can buy Shimanami souvenirs in the hostel and the it has so many choices. The staffs are very friendly, helpful and kind. The hostel has a coin laundry so you can wash and dry there. The hostel has also many information pamphlet about Shimanami cycling road or guide books about cycling areas on the shelf in the common space.

Our stay at Imabari couldn’t have gone any better! The view from the room was lovely. The owner was incredibly kind, she helped us by making us a restaurant reservation. She also left delicious clementines in the room for us and gave us a gift when we left. The room itself was very comfortable. The towels and yukata were the most comfortable we had in Japan. Overall amazing stay.

Great place in a quiet town. Would need to take a bus or train from Uwajima. Schedule is not regular but easy enough to navigate. Space is large and very well thought out with sleeping room, hang out lounge and nice kitchen with table and chairs. Very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Great place to base for walks in area. Huge bonus was Izakaya down the street. Super refined and tasty. We enjoyed our stay.

Set in Imabari, 37 km from Saikokuji Temple and 37 km from Senkoji Temple, Guesthouse Farmor - Vacation STAY 15083v offers air conditioning. The host is very kind and received us very well. We arrived by bike completely wet due to the rain and she was very helpful and kind in taking us to a the municipal sento and helping us dry our clothes. She also arranged dinner at a nice place for us, if she suggest to make a reservation for you, say yes!

Outstanding property with all the amenities you could want for a family retreat. With optional Karaoke, Large Outdoor Bath, and Yakiniku (BBQ), we spent more time at the house then we did away from it. The house is nestled in a private bamboo forest with multiple outdoor hammocks and one indoor hammock to enjoy. The building itself appears to be very new and was very clean. We had a toddler in our party and were provided with a diaper pail as well as baby shower supplies. We requested the optional outdoor bath, for each night of our stay, and there was a bucket of rubber duckies that filled the large bath much to our toddler's delight. There were also board games and coloring supplies available to entertain our children. The property owners even provided home made mochi and shaved ice! All in all this was the highlight of our trip around Japan and a memory my children will never forget. 10/10 would recommend this property to families or couples looking for a private getaway.
