I cant start to describe how wonderful was our staying here, this is an experience that you cant miss! the traditional japanese room was by far the most spacious room we had in our whole travel, the view to the garden and the mountains its amazing, also they provide teabags and a teapot to enjoy in the room relaxing, the private onsen was also a wonderfull experience included in the stay with the convenience that can be enjoyed by families and tattoed person since its reserved for each room. The hotel also provides transportation to a nearby train/cable car station, the breakfast its delicous as well as the dinner...oh and the staff! super friendly and as well as in all Japan they will do their best to make your stay as comfortable as possible, they speak english if your cant speak Japanese (tho everyone should try at least the basics if you plan to travel to a foreing country) Overall our experience in Hakone was awesome and staying here was the cherry on top!

Situated within 600 metres of Yuigahama Beach and 1.2 km of Zaimokuza Beach, CASA Kamakura Espresso&BED features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Kamakura. We really enjoyed our stay. The owners are super friendly and welcoming, the room was very clean and nicely designed, the beds were comfortable and the coffee was delicious. Also the location is great. There are plenty of good restaurants and shops in the neighborhood, the train station is around the corner and it only takes 5 minutes to walk to the beach.

Situated 47 km from Shuzen-ji Temple, Irori Guest House Tenmaku offers 1-star accommodation in Hakone and has a bar. Really clean and well-maintained. Very friendly staff. Japanese style rooms with tatami mats. Lobby-cum-living room was spacious with a nice design and a warm and inviting vibe. The evening dinner around a fire-pit was a nice experience.

Set just less than 1 km from Yuigahama Beach, Guest House Irodori Kamakura offers accommodation in Kamakura with access to a bar, a shared lounge, as well as a concierge service. We stayed 15 Nights at Irodori and had an unforgettable time that will stay with us for the rest of our life's. Seriously, it was that special. Bushi-sama is a very special person, he built a home for everyone no matter where you come from and what you have and what you don't have. He fights for a better future for the young generation and gives them hope. He inspires everyone to be the best version of themselves and to do good. The guest house also attracts a lovely community that comes for visits, and we enjoyed many things like a Mochi-making event, where we met many good-hearted people, who do incredible things like building orphanages, helping people with disabilities, running a free school for dropouts and so on. We also did a Samurai tour wearing Samurai armour (a dream come true for my husband), enjoyed a lovely Aromatherapy massage by Megumi-san, listened to the weekly singing group and many more things. People come and visit, sometimes have dinner, and you get to interact with everyone because it is a small and homely guesthouse. We enjoyed many evenings in the communal area chatting with guests and made lots of friends. The staff is incredible and really cares for you. I mean really cares for you. To give an example: I was pregnant while I was there and they tried very hard to cook different breakfast meals that were great for pregnant women (thank you Masa-san), they researched and helped me book an appointment at hospitals, offered to come to translate, and so on. They are also excellent tour guides and are always happy to help you plan your trip. Philip and I want to thank you all again from the bottom of our hearts for everything you have done for us. We will cherish these memories forever. We miss everyone already and are looking forward to visiting you again one day!

Open in April 2017, Field Hakone Resort is set in Hakone, a 6-minute walk from Sengokuannaishomae Bus Stop. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and free private parking is available on... It was spacious and had a traditional vibe while being modern. Close to all amenities and also has a great laundry facility. The best part was the owners, who were super nice and welcoming and were always willing to help.

Situated in Noge district in Yokohama, GuestHouse FUTARENO is a 5-minute walk from Sakuragicho and Hinodecho stations. The owners were super sweet and friendly ❤️

Situated in Yokosuka and with Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine reachable within 24 km, 酒と宿と不動産-yado- features a terrace, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a restaurant. Great big room, clean, comfortable, warm in a Lovely old building. Friendly hosts, I booked last minute while cycling around Tokyo bay and was greeted with a smile, a great recommendation for somewhere to eat late at night and they allowed me to store my bicycle inside overnight. I would definitely say again if I am back in Yokosuka anytime.
