Det 2-stjerners Onsen Guest House Tsutaya ligger i Hakone, 7 km fra både Hakone Lalique-museet og Hakone botaniske hage for våtmark. The hotel was a very nice surprise when we visited Japan. The shared bathroom was a unique experience, the traditional room was worth the visit and the hotel offered a very relaxing onsen. It is in a nice location (near bus stations, among trees), with very friendly and helpful staff.

Situated within 600 metres of Yuigahama Beach and 1.2 km of Zaimokuza Beach, CASA Kamakura Espresso&BED features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Kamakura. Excellent location near Hasedera temple, the beach is very close on foot too but what make this place special is their owners. Yuka and her husband were super welcoming and helpful. I loved the interior design of the place in a good Japanese minimalist style (Designed by the owner herself) small yet very comfortable. Yuka recommended we go for dinner to a place right across from their B&B and we had the best experience and Okonomiyaki meal of our entire trip. Before our departure Yuka treated us to her amazing coffee, I like to say Thank you to them and I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Kamakura.

Situated 47 km from Shuzen-ji Temple, Irori Guest House Tenmaku offers 1-star accommodation in Hakone and has a bar. Excellent location just next to the Open Air Museum. The public space is tastefully decorated, I had some good white wine in the bar. The staff are very friendly and helpful, giving me advice where to go in Hakone.

Set just less than 1 km from Yuigahama Beach, Guest House Irodori Kamakura offers accommodation in Kamakura with access to a bar, a shared lounge, as well as a concierge service. The host are so amazing, thoughtful and full of passion in introducing Japanese culture to us. We also enjoy a very decent and yummy local Japanese breakfast cooked by the Samurai cook. Every tiny decoration in the hostel is so unique and with lots of memories there, especially the 500 years old Samurai 's sword. Very convenient location with shops, yummy food . JR station and Edo tram are in minutes walk around . We love all the moments there.

Open in April 2017, Field Hakone Resort is set in Hakone, a 6-minute walk from Sengokuannaishomae Bus Stop. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and free private parking is available on... Very clean, staff incredibly helpful and friendly. Gave lots of recommendations, advice and answered all questions. They were an absolute pleasure to deal with. In a great location, we stayed here to do fun2drive (would highly recommend if you are a car enthusiast)

Situated in Noge district in Yokohama, GuestHouse FUTARENO is a 5-minute walk from Sakuragicho and Hinodecho stations. Wonderful place & amazing hosts. Very caring and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Situated in Yokosuka and with Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine reachable within 24 km, 酒と宿と不動産-yado- features a terrace, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a restaurant. Great big room, clean, comfortable, warm in a Lovely old building. Friendly hosts, I booked last minute while cycling around Tokyo bay and was greeted with a smile, a great recommendation for somewhere to eat late at night and they allowed me to store my bicycle inside overnight. I would definitely say again if I am back in Yokosuka anytime.
